Tyrese D Lightning

Tyrese Dquarte Lightning was born on September 20, 2007, in Scottdale, Georgia, to Jennifer Nicole Lightning and Tyrone Parks.

Tyrese received his education through the City Schools of Decatur, attending College Heights Early Childhood Learning Center, Glenwood Elementary School, Renfroe Middle School, and graduating with the Decatur High School Class of 2026.

Tyrese was a bright, curious, and talented young man who had a passion for learning. A true jack of all trades, he taught himself German, Spanish, and Arabic. He was also a computer whiz with a love for technology and gaming. He especially enjoyed playing Roblox and Minecraft. One of Tyrese's greatest dreams was to travel the world and experience different cultures.

He was preceded in death by his great-grandmother, Vivian Lightning; great-uncle, Anthony Thurmond; and great-grandmother, Alfornia Hightower.

Tyrese leaves to cherish his precious memories his loving mother, Jennifer Nicole Lightning (Kacy Campbell); his father, Tyrone Parks; his grandparents, Dale Renee Lightning and Jasper Hightower; his sister, Tenna Lightning; his brother, Clayton Lightning; his aunts, Aricka Lightning and Shawanda Lightning; his uncle, Dontavious Hightower; his great-aunts, Mary Ann Turner, Shirley Drew, and Michelle Lightning; his great-uncles, Benny Frank Thurmond, Michael Lightning, John Lee Hightower, and Alvin Hightower; his great-great-aunts, Annie Harris (Jimmy) and Aricka Lightning of New York; the Lucas family; and special family friends Sequoia Dudley, Remaz Elmahdi, DeAngelo Wilson, Brandon Gilton, Verlando Waller, Kim William, Tomeka Hightower, Elaine Johnson, Charles, and a host of other loving relatives and friends.

Though Tyrese's time on earth was far too short, the love he shared, the lives he touched, and the memories he created will remain in the hearts of all who knew and loved him forever.
